A local shopkeeper suggested we visit the Ardfert Friary before leaving their small town, so we did. |
The friary was less crowded than the cathedral and more fun to explore. |

We saw "Rattoo Round Tower" marked on the map, a few miles off the road we were on.
When we arrived, a sign told us it was built in 1100 AD. We were the only people there. |
